Carrick Re Ltd. (the “Company” or “Carrick Re”) was incorporated as a Bermuda exempted company with limited liability on November 21, 2019 and licensed as a Class 3A insurer by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (“BMA”) under the Insurance Act, 1978 on 1st April 2020. 

Carrick Re operates in the runoff sector of the insurance industry and focuses on the efficient disposition of discontinued businesses. The Company intends to provide solutions for property and casualty insurers seeking to more efficiently allocate their capital, exit lines of business, and manage their exposures in this challenging interest rate environment. Target markets include risks in both the United States and Europe.
